Welcome to 5th Grade KEY!
The KEY program is an enrichment program offered to those children who demonstrate creativity, task commitment, and academic ability. Children accepted in to KEY are expected maintain a level of self initiation and motivation. The Language Arts based activities in KEY allow learners the opportunity to develop and expand their talents and intelligences, accept academic challenges, and learn more about their capabilities.
KEY students need to keep up with their regular classroom work and remain positive role models for our school by following PBIS, POP, and Growth Mindset expectations. If keeping up with work is an issue, please talk to me before things get overwhelming.
This year's 5th Grade KEY schedule:
Carballeira/Gustavson – Wednesdays 12:15 – 1:10
Currier/Haarlander – Thursdays 12:15 – 1:10
