Encouraging a Growth Mindset

Encouraging a Growth Mindset

Let’s be honest.  Math can be difficult and frustrating at times.  Since math can be quite a challenge, it is important to encourage your child to have a “growth mindset.”  This means having the type of attitude where you will keep trying, never give up, and persevere until you reach your goal, no matter how difficult the task.  Students also need to learn that mistakes are a good thing, because you learn from them!  Below you will find some resources that you can use at home to encourage a “growth mindset.”
